Chest Xray

Today Sophie had a chest xray done to check out her heart and lung development.  The cardiologist said there was a chance her heart might be a little stressed and not pumping as efficiently as it could.  So they are giving her digoxin.  This is supposed to help her heart squeeze better on the pumping out part of the beat.  It will move more volume per beat.  But her heart rate has been fine and the neonatologist said things were good.  

Tomorrow she gets an echocardiogram to more thoroughly check out her heart.
