follow-ups galore

Just because we left the hospital doesn't mean Sophie doesn't get her fill of doctors anymore. Our calendar is quite full with follow-up visits. She got an hip ultrasound yesterday and we go back to the orthopedist next week. However, his office called today and said the new pictures look good, that her femur and hip are improving, and that we can start taking her harness off her for a few hours each day! So tonight she got her first real bath in quite a while. After we put the brace back on her in the evening, she cried pretty much a whole hour straight. We're not sure if that was her usually 9 o'clock fussytime, or having to be restricted again, or both.

Today we saw the surgeon that put in her g-button. Things are looking well there, and we won't have to see him again until it needs to be removed. Plus, we still have followups with the cardiologists, a dietician, another swallow study--oh yeah--and the regular pediatrician. So don't worry about us getting bored.

In other news, Sophie has a new cousin (actually first cousin once removed). Stephanie's niece Lindsey had a baby girl named Lacee on April 2nd. Congratulations Lindsey & Scott!!!
