Once more to the surgeon

 Sophie had minor surgery (at least compared to some of the others she's been through) today.  After her feeding tube was taken out in September, we though the site where it was had closed naturally on its own, like it's supposed to.  But a couple months later, it was causing her pain and having some drainage.  The GI doc referred us to pediatric surgery and they said she would have to have it closed with some stitches.  

Sophie has been worried about it, but she did great and got 3 popsicles while in the recovery room.  We were home before noon and now she's watching PBS Kids cartoons on the couch.  The doc says she'll be up and back to normal in a day or two.   We're hoping this is the last time she ever has to do anything like this.
