3 months
Today is 3 months since Sophie was born. She is just under 7lbs, but is more than double what she weighed at birth. Last week was a little bit of a setback, as she didn't gain any weight, but tomorrow is the important measure. We're going to the cardiologist so she can evaluate Sophie. Hopefully she'll say everything is going fine, stay the course.
Stephanie went back to work full-time this week. It's a hectic moment for her to jump back in, since there's just one week until the tax deadline, but it was time. Luckily, my mom came up here to stay with us for a week and help me out. And somehow, even with the two of us here, we still can't manage to get anything done! I'm glad she came up here. I think it's really good for all of us.
Sophie has been doing very well. She is much better this past week about taking entire bottles. When we first got home, she did a couple of days where she'd chow down, and then after her vaccinations, it's taken a couple weeks to work her back up to doing the two a day, but she's getting it. We'll probably shoot for 3x in the next day or so.
It's also been determined that Sophie's biological clock definitely works. 9pm every night is fussy o'clock. And by 10 it's usually over with. I do wish it could be at a different time of day, so it's not always while Stephanie is around, but at least it's not longer.

Glad everything is going well and that you all are getting into your new normal at home. We have presents for you all, but as you are finding out, with kids, you never seem to accomplish what you want to. I promise we'll get it to ya'll before she turns one! Best wishes, the Riepes
