whole lotta shakin' goin' on
So, last night Sophie and I were up from 11pm til about 1:30, and during that time we heard an earthquake! Apparently a 2.5 and 3.0 tremor were measured about 10 or 15 miles from here. Well, Sophie may have been too busy crying, but I heard them. The first one I thought must have been a car wreck somewhere nearby. And the second one was a big boom and I thought something hit our roof. But I couldn't go out and check then. This afternoon I heard the story on the radio. Apparently everyone else here already knew about this, but no one I talked to was awake to hear it.
Crazy stuff. I never would have guessed. No tremor, nothing fell off the walls or anything, just noise. And if that's the biggest one I ever experience, it's okay by me.
