Third Time IS a Charm

I'm happy to report that the third medicine trial is a charm for little Sophie. This new medication is helping a lot. She's able to eat/drink 3+ ounces at a time now without throwing up! I know this is still a small amount, but it's huge for her. We're finally able to get near the calorie intake goal, so maybe she won't be little forever!

Unfortunately, life is still not throw-up free. She has a very sensitive gag reflex. The gagging frequently leads to complete stomach emptying. (And usually on the very last sip of the meal. So frustrating!) This is a problem that should improve with more desensitization and that's what we're working on now in therapy.
