Sophie the penguin eater

Today after school we stopped by the store and Sophie exclaimed "I want some penguin crackers!"  They are essentially fakey Cheez-Its shaped like penguins.  She said she was going to have them for snack when we got home.  Well, when we got in we took all the worksheets and papers out of her bag that she brought home, and one was Penguin Subtraction.  It had all these little subtraction problems with a penguin & fish.  Each one would say something like "There were 5 fish and then the penguin ate 2, how many are left?" with a picture of 5 fish, and they had to cross out 2 and count the remaining ones.

So then we had snack (bologna and penguin crackers), and we set up a word problem, "If there are 4 penguins and Sophie eats 2 of them, how many are left?" and she would eat the 2 and give me the answer.  Then I could hear her muttering to herself different numbers of penguins and saying, "If Sophie eats 3..."
