Halloween Decorations

Sophie has been very excited about decorations this Halloween season. The lady who Peter stays with during the day has a TON of decorations out, both inside and out of her house. After seeing that, Sophie insisted that we put some up. Well, we had a few things she made at school last year, so we put them up on the porch and got out a few little plastic pumpkins. This seems to have appeased her.

We also went to our friends' annual pumpkin carving party last weekend.  She was very enthused about the idea of carving pumpkins, but at the party was not so interested.  She did help me cut a "B" out of "Boo" in one, then was ready to go play with the other kids and beg for M&M's some more.

We already have her costume, which Stephanie bought for her a few weeks ago.  She's been wearing it around and is very excited about going trick'or'treating.  And we're going to have a block party with some of our neighbors Halloween evening.
