Monkey Bars!!!

Yesterday, for the first time, Sophie did the monkey bars all by herself!  Check it out:




She's been doing them for a couple weeks with me "helping" her, she hadn't built up enough confidence to do it without me.   But as we were doing these, she started stringing a few together and I knew she was ready, but I was not going to push her to do it that day.

What really made the difference was that she can actually reach the bars here by herself, but we hadn't been to this playground all winter.  At all the other playgrounds, I have to lift her up to reach the bars.  But now she's grown enough to get these.

I guess she first did it without me watching because she came running up to tell me she can do them now without my help.  Then she went across again to show me and she was jumping up and down she was so happy.

Once she did it, there was no stopping her, she did them probably 7 or 8 times.
