4 months & 8 pounds!

Sophie was 4mos old on the 8th. She is also just over 8 lbs now, which
we are thrilled about. Hopefully as she gets bigger, she'll overcome some of the eating difficulties and gain weight faster.

We did see a gastroenterologist on Wednesday. He is having us do a couple of tests to get more information. The first is a PH study, to see how much acid Sophie's little tummy is producing, and the second will be an ultrasound. He also recommended we try to eliminate milk & soy proteins from her diet, as approximately 40% of small babies cannot break them down. So we switched her to a hypoallergenic formula that is more easily digestible to see if it helps.
