Porky

We went to the pediatrician yesterday, and Sophie weighed 9lbs. In the
past 2 weeks she gained a whole pound! This is very exciting for us.
Overall, she is doing well. This was just her 4 month checkup & shots.

We also heard back about the GI tests. The pH study was negative, so
that is good. The ultrasound showed some minor reflux, which I got to
see live on the monitor--freaky. So this means they're not able to do
much for her, other than give her carafate to coat and soothe her
tummy. Basically, it's just a "plumbing problem" that she'll have to
outgrow. While it's good to know that this isn't a serious issue, it's
inconvenient for us and uncomfortable for her.
