Back from NY

Well, we returned yesterday afternoon to find Sophie and her grandparents all doing well. I didn't even see any bags under anyone's eyes. Stephanie and I had a great trip. We had good luck with the weather and found great places to eat and sites to see even without our customary guidebook. The Canadian side of Niagara was quite the spectacle. Stephanie said it was kind of like a cross between Tijuana and Las Vegas. Anyway, it was both fun and strange to be out "on our own" again, and returning home was kind of a similar feeling.

This morning, before my parents left, we discovered something exciting: baby teeth! Sophie has 2 sharp little teeth that have come in on the bottom. Pretty neat, but after getting chomped pretty good once today, I think this might be one of those "be careful what you wish for" things.
