Last post of 2009

Wow, haven't posted in over a month. We've been busy with all the
holidays, shopping, visiting, etc. I will try to get some more
pictures up soon. Sophie has been doing well, but seems like she has
had sniffles or a cold since October. Normally, this wouldn't be a big
deal, but when she coughs from a cold, it can easily lead to throwing
up, especially during or right after eating. This has made it tough to
get all the calories she needs in and her weight gain has suffered for
the last month or two. But last week we broke down and went to the
pediatrician. He gave her antibiotics for a sinus infection, and she's
been improving since.

I guess a runny nose all winter is the downside of getting out more
and having her around other kids. Plus, I think we've been passing it
back and forth.

But we've been having a good time doing lots if visiting during the
holidays. We were in San Antonio for almost a week at Thanksgiving and
then had a full schedule last weekend. And in a week into 2010,
Sophie turns 2! I can hardly believe it.
