Is winter over yet?

Well, apparently the antibiotics Sophie got for her ear infection didn't do much. She had a fever on Sunday and I took her in Monday to the pediatrician again. He said her ears were still bad, gave her an antibiotic shot and a new prescription. She had also been throwing up Monday afternoon, but we got her some fluids overnight. Yesterday she couldn't keep anything down, so I had to take her into the ER at the hospital near us because she was getting dehydrated. Our hospital here doesn't have pediatric beds, so they gave her some fluids and transferred us to Cooks Childrens last night. It's almost like going home again, I'm sorry to say. Anyway today she's doing much better, getting lots of sleep, and they're going to keep her for observation until tomorrow.

So hopefully, this will get her the rest and medications she needs to recover and finally get over all the sniffles, infections, bugs, etc she's had for so long now.
