Back home
Sophie's home again. They released her this evening. She's pretty much back to normal today. The doctor saw her this morning and said she could come off the IV fluids. Then Sophie ate a whole bunch of froot loops and teddy grahams, drank water and apple juice all day, and read and played in her hospital room. She was a little wobbly at first, but pretty soon was going back and forth bringing books to us. Stephanie put her in a wagon in the afternoon and she got to ride around some, including down to the 2nd floor to get some more books.
By 6pm they started doing the paperwork and we were home a little while later. By 8:30 she had a bath and was sleeping in her crib. We're glad because after sleeping all day yesterday, she (and Stephanie) were up til 3am and then slept til 10 this morning. We were afraid her clock would be all messed up, so hopefully she'll sleep through the night and be back on track tomorrow.
